THE ROMANCE

Your initial meet. How did it happen?

I have seen him at several functions and initially, I got to know from one of my closest relations.

● Who made the first move? How?

It was Prasad who made the first move. To say the truth, he played it so cool by talking to my parents first. My mother was impressed by the way he proposed and she asked me to talk to him first and see without jumping into conclusions as I was very choosy when it comes to love and relationship. He initiated the first official connection being so open and honest, stating that we should grow together in love and passion.

● What was your first impression about your spouse?

He is an honest, straightforward and a lovable husband.

● In what ways are you most alike?

Both of us are so into movies and we love food and travelling too. Moreover, going for religious places too. It really brings us closer. Getting fat together is our slogan I would say.

● What's your most memorable date? Why?

It would probably be our engagement day 08th March 2019. We were in our best dresses, happy moods and felt a sense of comfort and freedom among our parents and relations.

● Three things you love and hate about your partner.

Bimba : I love the straight forward and lovable nature in him. No one has ever made me feel in this way. I feel like a princess in his eyes. When I am with him. I hate his bad temper and the reluctance in admitting the wrong he has done sometimes.

THE PROPOSAL

● How did the proposal happen?

First Prasad was able to set his spell to my parents and finally to me. I understood that I am  on the same page with things that matter most to me because I discussed them with Prasad. Thereby I felt like he was the one.

What are you most looking forward to as Mr. and Mrs.?

Bimba : I am so happy to see how far we have come as a couple and It is nothing but love, kindness, cooperation, understanding and commitment.

THE WEDDING

● Most memorable moment from your wedding?

It would probably be our first look. It will always be the one to remember. As it was a service wedding; I was welcomed to the military family by the sward party given by the fellow officers.

●If you could describe your wedding day using one word, what would it be?

Treasured

What's been the most fun detail of your wedding to plan?

I wanted my bridal and veil to be in pure white with pearls and I always wanted to have a long veil to make me elegant and I loved to have a beautiful deco in white, mixed with my theme color rose gold at the entrance.

LIFE AFTER

● Where did you go for your honeymoon?

We thought of spending in the hill country in holiday bungalows with authentic Italian and Sri Lankan food. It  was such an amazing experience!

● What is your idea of, “and they lived happily ever after”?

We are, after all, opening our lives together as Mr. & Mrs. It is such a special feeling! I am eternally thankful that such a thing as marriage exists and I was given the gift. I think that both of us respect each other’s and we have a long way to go in the years to come. FRIENDSHIP with your partner is vital.

● What has surprised you the most during the first few weeks/months of being married?

How completely comfortable and care free we are. We learn so much about each other and still manage to spend the time together.

● Who’s good at forgetting and better at forgiving?

I guess we both have our moments when it comes to forgiving and forgetting.
